If you look a little closer, you’ll notice that this design follows the elevation of the course as it progresses through downtown Spokane. Starting pretty level on the streets and then dipping into Latah Creek Bridge in the “B”, then down again into the Spokane River, up Doomsday hill where the vulture awaits, and finishing underneath the traditional balloons!
Bloomsday 2024 Perennial Shirt Design
The 2024 Perennial design features five Expo ‘74 butterflies in honor of the five butterflies proudly displayed at the expo, as well as a subtle reference to it being the 50 year anniversary. The stripes are a nod to the original butterfly pattern and help give the design a vintage feel, and, of course, the silhouette of the pavilion is the iconic topper!

The Spokatopia Outdoor Adventure Festival is an annual event for outdoor enthusiasts. Offering everyone the option to try different outdoor activities as well as enjoy games, live music, and test mountain bikes, kayaks, and paddleboards.
The design brief requested a single color design featuring a bike, kayak, and the pacific northwest landscape in illustrated line art.
